EFFECTS OF OVEREXPOSURE:       

Inhalation:  Effects tissue of the mucous membrane and upper respiratory tract. Do not breath dust.

Eye Contact:  Dust be mechanically irritating to eyes and skin.

Other: Symptoms of exposure may include burning sensation, coughing, laryngitis, shortness of breath,

headache, nausea ad vomiting.

Medical conditions possibly aggravated by exposure:  Respiratory disorders

EMERGENCY PROCEDURES:

Ingestion:  Give 1‑2 cups of milk or water and induce vomiting. Seek medical attention

Inhalation:  Remove to fresh air, give oxygen if breathing is difficult. Seek medical attention

Eye Contact:  Flush eyes with lukewarm water for 15 minutes and seek medical attentions

STEPS TO BE TAKEN IN CASE MATERIAL IS RELEASED OR SPILLED:

Wear NIOSII‑approved dust‑mist‑fume cartridge respirator. Insure proper ventilation is available. Vacuum up the spill using a high efficiency unit and place in a container for proper disposal.  Take care not to raise dust.
